Meet
Debbie. Debbie is a typical home
business owner. She has a small office in her home
with a computer, laser printer, and high-speed Internet access.
One day she can't get on the Internet to conduct her business.
Debbie tries everything she knows of - turning her computer off and
on, unplugging the modem, and cursing the PC - then she calls her
Internet Service Provider. Her ISP checks a couple of things
and tells her she has a problem with her computer. She calls
her PC manufacturer and they tell her the problem is with her
Internet service provider. Debbie's business depends on her
computer system and the Internet. Debbie needs one number to
call for all of her technology needs; whether it be computer,
Internet, printer, fax, or any other technology need. Debbie

Ken
is a small business
owner. He runs an accounting firm
with a couple of servers, ten workstations, several printers and
laptops. His computer systems are very important, but he
doesn't feel justified in hiring a full-time network administrator.
The company 'computer guru' does a good job of managing day-to-day
tasks, but often runs into trouble and is not really sure how to
properly manage and maintain the companies network. Ken needs
someone who can be "on call" when problems arise, manage his
network, make sure everything is working properly, and help him plan
for the future. Ken would also like one number to call if he
is having trouble with his computer system, telephone system,
Internet, web site, email, or any of his other technology needs.

Shannon
is the owner of a medium
sized business. Shannon's business
has four servers, 25 workstations, printers, laptops, wireless
access, her own email server, and she hosts her companies web site.
Shannon's business has grown over the years and she has 3 separate
office locations. She has a network administrator who takes
care of the company network, but there are times when they need help
with special projects and upgrades. She would also like to get
outside advice from someone who not only understands the challenges
small/medium businesses face, but has experience with enterprise
level technology. Shannon needs someone to help them implement
useful technology to help her business run more efficiently.

Joel
works for a large company
with 250 branch offices around the United States.
Joel is in charge of the entire network, but he can't be in 250
places at once and it is getting expensive every time he has to fly
cross-country to replace a faulty power supply or some other minor
repair. Joel would really like to find a company that can
provide on-site technical support for his branch offices. Joel
needs someone to conduct hardware repairs, router/switch
replacements, software training, and other support when he is unable
to do it himself. Joel needs ComputersPlus! |
